The warrior’s weekend is a social event that has been held by the Oldham & District Mini Club for a number of years now. Its purpose is primarily for club members to get to know each other whilst enjoying a weekend’s camping break. A treasure hunt and a number of friendly competitions are held throughout the weekend as well as a barbeque bash on the Saturday evening.

This year’s event took place on the 11^th & 12^th June at Silverdale a lovely little village on the coastline of Morecambe Bay in Lancashire and whilst it seemed that the rest of the country was thwarted with bad weather the club enjoyed continuous blue skies throughout the weekend.

The overall winners and proud recipients of The Warriors Weekend Trophy were team Foxtrot (aka club members : Sharon Campbell, Scott Harvey & Jaime Pusey)
